Hi Gelert, just reading all the sections through and have my 2 cents worth mentioning:
Black Sect - A recent, unofficial translation gives you a chance to start this game over with English texts. Clay Agent - Not much of communication thoughout the whole game, can be played easily in all 3 language versions. Who's Fat Lou? - Certainly released in English version, although in a limited, sparse amount

Hi Wallymian. Thanks for the info.. Black Sect - A recent, unofficial translation gives you a chance to start this game over with English texts. Do you have a link to that? I'll put it on the website. Clay Agent - Not much of communication thoughout the whole game, can be played easily in all 3 language versions. Do you mean English as well? I didn't know that. Do you have a link? Who's Fat Lou? - Certainly released in English version, although in a limited, sparse amount. I'll remove it from Translations Please!. I have it the main database as well. Yes. It does exist in English. Now, where did I see that? :-D

Hi wallymian. I'm sorry, but I misread your original post. No links to abandonware websites, or material of any sort, are allowed on Adventure Point. If you take a look at the rules page, below the forum, our attitude to abandonware is laid out there. If you have any information of official English translations, or ones that are clearly sanctioned, or approved, by the original licence owners, or that we know have been made legally available, then, that's okay. Also, any games that have been made legally freely available. Lure of the Temptress and Beneath A Steel Sky are examples. Please take time to read the forum rules if you're not sure of something. Thanks wallymian.

I believe reading Abandonia forum is not against any rules to harm or spoil, or is it? ;-) The guy who made unoffical translation only changed one file - so everybody out there who owns the original (how many, right?) may copy over the Spanish, French version file, that will do the trick. Simply as that. FYI, the Lankhor is a dead company, giving all their backup disks to person who runs French Lankhor fan page. Some were unreadable, some were to some use, among them they found some fragments of English, never released translation. They also have some tools from Lankhor to finish the Atari version. It was a slight coincidence the same process worked for PC version.
Leave or let be, but don't expect to ever see authentic English version. I spoke with several people out Lanhkor, and their future plans seem not to be directed against the flow of time, in an old trash. Just my 2 cents.
