ResidualVM is almost ready. Beta testers needed!

ResidualVM, the 3d emulation platform made by the ScummVM Team is almost ready. The prerelease version is available and the developers are asking for help. Beta testers are needed to play via Residual Grim Fandango, the first game that Residual will support (Monkey Island 4 and Myst 3 following). Take a look at the official Website. I have already installed the prerelease version , it looks fine just like ScummVM.

Does it support OS's like Windows 3.xx, 95/98, 98SE?

If you have ever used ScummVM then you should know how ResidualVM works too. It's exactly the same. Residual is not an OS emulator but a game emulator. It doesn't simulate any OS like DOSBox or VirtualPC, you put inside it the game data files and the game runs through it. For the time being only Grim Fandango runs with it, and Monkey Island 4, Myst 3-Exile soon will be supported too.
