Stopping By To Say Hi

Good day fellow gamers. I spent part of the morning downloading sounds for Hawk Manor, thank goodness for free sound sites like Free Sounds and GRSites. Now the only thing left for graphics should be resizing the items for the inventory list. It seems never ending. Can't wait to start working with Wintermute, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far

It's been pretty hot here these past couple of days, I miss having the windows open especially at night. Hubby bought a new Dutch oven pot awhile back and yesterday I made an oven baked beef stew in it, OMG, I couldn't believe the taste. Our old oven conked out on us so we had to get a new one with a convection and I'm telling you I'm loven that oven.

Not much else going on. Any news over here

Was battling with dizzy spells for awhile till I figured out it was my anxiety, so I took a Bromazepam and they seem to go away, but I don't want to have to take them every day.

Still keeping up the treadmill, it was funny the last time I was on it I got into listening to some music and forgot about keeping an eye on the time. I usually give myself a 2 minute cool down but was so into the music I only got 1 minute in. It's amazing when you're not paying attention how fast the time goes by. Well I'm off to make the rounds. It has been hot here also! Hottest day of the year yesterday for Los Angeles. I was awake at 3am and the thermometer said it was still 88 degrees inside the house.  

Today is hot but not quite that bad. 10pm and thermometer says only 83 degrees inside.

Hi Lakerz, it's been pretty cool here today, I'm feeling a nice breeze on my left arm. I'm not a big fan of the heat, love the sun but not the heat. I told hubby we should retire to Alaska

Been so busy downloading sounds for my game. Once I get that done I can start on the voices, then comes the dreaded engine work.

Hubby and I spent two days trimming our Lilac tree and both my hands are so sore. I hope I'm not developing arthritis in my hands, could be just not use to using those muscles

I made a curio cabinet with Paint Shop Pro so I started making Jam Jars for another cupboard I'm going to make. When I get all the furniture made I'm going to make a room to put them all in to see what they look like

How is Hats, I haven't seen her lately, I hope she's ok.

Yes the game is coming along better than I expected actually. Today I'm starting in on the voices. I'm going to have to see if I can get some male actors because Heavy Early hates doing them and there are a lot of men in this game. Poor guy, he gives it his best though.

So much to do yet. I'm not sure if after Hawk Manor I want to take a break and do some more learning or just jump right into the next game. We'll see how I feel afterwards. Well I'm off to make the rounds I have another video to post. Take care of yourself and mom, I hope all is well  

Alaska is definitely my kind of weather. I can see myself living in Sitka. Course, the cost of living is high enough to dissuade me from ever making that move.

Middle of September and Los Angeles still in a hot weather streak. August/September are my two least favorite months for a reason! I do like October though.

Newfoundland has nice cool weather, but food there is a bit expensive. Hubby and I were looking at some property there which was pretty cheap. I haven't been back to Nfld. since 1975 when I left. I promised hubby that before I die that I will take him there for some Chess's Fish & Chips. The last F&C we had put me right off, the batter inside was still raw and gooey. YUK!!!! It's so hard to get good F&C these days
