It is just way too hot here in Southern California for mid-October

I am quickly coming to the conclusion that I may have to move to Alaska or maybe Antarctica to ever know what it feels like to be cold, ha ha. I think yesterday/today may have been the hottest day of the year here, reaching 90+ degrees (and I live in a coastal city the inland areas were even hotter!). I do not do well in heat, about 80 degrees is the hottest I can (not so comfortably) take. No air conditioning either, because usually there are not too many excessively hot days here near the beach.

This has just been a sucky August/September/October for weather. I've even having to put off my walking excercise until late at night because it is just too hot. Last night, went on my 4 mile walk at 10pm.....it was still 78 degrees outside! Ugh.

Well, you could live in New Jersey. It's a beautiful 62 degrees today.

As I type this in my sauna like bedroom it is 11:22pm and currently 86 degrees. Melting.....I am melting...........

Patience, lakerz, El Nino is coming and hopefully will cool things down.

Patience is nearly gone....

It is almost Halloween now, yet there has not been one...single...day of decently cool weather. Right now it is reading 80 degrees here at 5:30pm. Not blazing hot, but for late October? Boooooooooo......

I'm not that crazy about the heat either. You can always move to Canada. We had it pretty cool from April to August, August and September were sweltering, now it's cooling down for winter. I wish we had it 80 here for Halloween but of course they're calling for rain, sure why not. Just once I'd like to have a warm Halloween, send me some of your stuff lakerz. During August and September this year you couldn't leave the house, we had the AC on for two months and oddly enough the hydro bill wasn't too bad. The heat bothers my eczema, we also keep cool in here during the winter. Nope not a big fan of the heat either. I hope you get some relief soon

We can always house swap StarLite Moon from time to time so you can experience never ending heat while I enjoy a bit of snow. I've been to Canada a hand full of times for work, mostly to Calgary. I don't mind the cold one bit, although having to heat your car everytime you park it in the winter would be a pain. Also scraping off the wind shield ice gets old also. I was fortunate enough to get up to Banff and Lake Louis resorts. The national forest is very scenic and majestic. I liked how the glacier was right there in front of the resort.

Over here in Southern California, October was officially the hottest one ever. Broke all the records. We had a brief rain storm which cooled things off for a few nights but are now back to the typical 77 degrees and full sunshine beaming down. At least it is getting cooler at night when I go exercise. Speaking of which...almost time to lace up my walking shoes.

Hi laIce and snow are definitely a pain. We got hit with a winter storm yesterday. We had to run the truck 30 minutes this morning and still had to do a lot of scraping. I'm already counting the days till spring lol
