Time to get a feel of what the visitors prefer, here at Adventure Point, in their Adventure Game play perspective. You can choose more than one

There was a time that I didn't have a preference and loved playing both perspectives but in the last couple years I have been migrating away from the Third Person view as I no longer enjoy it. I have since preferred and enjoyed games with a First Person view the most.

First person has the edge over third for me because I find it more immersive looking at things through my own eyes. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed third person games, also, but my favorites list has many more with the first person perspective.

| I enjoy play both 1st and 3rd perspective and enjoy them. But I prefer playing the 1st perspective. I like the feeling of being in the game with the 1st perspective.

I like third person the best because I like to see what the character I'm playing is doing even if I am making the choices of where to go and look and all that jazz. It's easier for me to move around in a game where I can see the character and know which direction I'm facing. In a room I get lost the minute I make my first move. I have no sense of direction at all. In real life I once got confused as to where the house was located when I was in the back yard, which had lots of trees and underbrush so was a bit of a jungle. You could say I'm left and right handicapped as I often get them mixed up, which is one big reason I don't like using arrow keys!

Hi GreyFuss, Thanks for the welcome! And I think you already know the answer to those emails. Nine guesses and already the third person choice is the minority, woe is me.

Fear not, 3rd person is not that far behind and its early. There are still hundreds of votes to be counted and still more ballots to be cast....WONT THERE BE PEOPLE??? Contrary to the rumors you will not lose a limb, your dignity or a child if you cast your vote here. Nor will it hurt...so what are ya scared? I don't think you can vote...go ahead, I dare ya!!! :x |

I voted 'doesn't matter. Although when it's a 3D game (not my favorite anyway) I strongly prefer it to be 1st person. Those wooden puppets still look awful to me and always get themselves stuck in a corner. :x

I like them both, but my favorite games are 3rd person so I went with that.

Comedy titles are always 3rd person so it was an easy choice

Hmm, I never thought of this before, but you are right, SuperEdy, and I would guess it's because it is hard to find something funny in an empty room, which, come to think of it, is maybe why most horror, ghost hunting games are first person. It's easy to be scared and shivery when one is all alone.
