Please check out one of my favourite modern day Text Adventures on the Adventure Point Home page.

Home page

This time it's Mother Loose. i enjoyed it. I hope you will too. flower

At the bottom of the Home page, you'll begin to see that I've started to archive past revisions of the Home page so that they're not lost forever. Click on the bold cased numbers - I think it's 1 to 4 at present - and check out some other Text Adventures that I've played and that I recommend highly.

Included are Anchorhead - my all-time favourite - and Photopia - a very clever piece of Interactive Fiction.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

An Adventurer's strength flows from the Point'n'Click Force. But beware The Dark Side my friend.Anger,rage,aggression.The dark side of the gaming Force are they.Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. If once you start down the dark path of RPGs, Action-Adventures or . . eek! . . Casual Games (brrr!),forever will it dominate your destiny.Consume you it will,as it did Ethel,of whom we dare not speak for fear of instant expulsion from our true faith of Point'n'Click.

Mother Loose looks interesting so does Anchorhead. I might give them a try. Thank you Gelert.

I've dabbled in text adventures, but haven't really taken to them in the same way as graphical adventures. Although I find the concept fascinating enough that I take a crack at one every once in awhile. That recommendations list looks like just what I need, some interesting looking games there. I'll be definitely checking that out.
