In the guess the screenshot a screenshot was posted recently that when I looked at it I thought it's Last Half of Darkness. Several other people thought it was Last Half of Darkness also. It wasn't the first time I looked at a screenshot and thought it was from another game or had the feeling it was familiar only to find it was from a game I hadn't played. The same thing has happened to me when playing games. A certain scene will just look so familiar.

I am curious does this happen to the rest of you sometimes ?

It happens to me all the time. There are just certain screen captures that are ever so slightly generic enough that they tickle the memory of everybody to the last game they played that kinda had that graphics style, hehe.

I remember one or two amazing examples, but can't lay my hands on the screenshots at the moment.

One was a bar scene from Silverload and from one of the Monkey Island games (don't remember which).

Another is of the maze in Mystery of the Druids and, I think, Jack Orlando (I may be suffering from failing memory on this one, but I think that's right).

An Adventurer's strength flows from the Point'n'Click Force. But beware The Dark Side my friend.Anger,rage,aggression.The dark side of the gaming Force are they.Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. If once you start down the dark path of RPGs, Action-Adventures or . . eek! . . Casual Games (brrr!),forever will it dominate your destiny.Consume you it will,as it did Ethel,of whom we dare not speak for fear of instant expulsion from our true faith of Point'n'Click.

I believe this happens a lot of those (us) that play these screenshot games and are involved in the various Tournaments held around the web Forums every year. After looking at thousands of screens they seem to start looking alike.
