Hats. I was trying to install on my laptop and it didn't work so I will attempt to install on my win xp. I was stuck in the hospital for a few days so I haven't installed it yet. My XP should work. I still have my trusty win98 pc for my older games. Very Happy

Hi Ang hope you are feeling better. I think you will be able to install it on your XP without trouble. It sure is nice to have a 98 for those problematic games. I sure am glad I still have mine Very Happy

dotemu has a sale on tony tough, and even though I own the game, I tried playing it a few months ago and couldn't get it working good on my windows 7. so, I bought it from dotemu and already have so much fun. I have forgotten so much of it, that is almost like playing "fresh". good thing I have a poor memory.

Tony Tough is one of my favorite games. I really enjoyed playing it.

I still have hopes that the developer will translate the sequel to English although after all this time I guess there isn't much hope for it.
Glad you are enjoying the game mbday630

hats, there is a patch to put the tony tough sequel in English. I think I have it somewhere and if I can find it, I could send it to you. I can't even remember anymore where I bought the game. But, there is an English patch for it. Sadly, I never finished the sequel as it just wasn't as much fun as the original, IMO.

It's true, Tony Tough does have a fan made English translation patch.  I have not tried it but did download it for future use.  I tracked down a German language Tony Tough 2 boxed game off ebay I think.  Here is the url to download the translation patch...

I just started playing the wacky Toonstruck. It works great in ScummVM on my Mac. I'm liking the voice acting and the colorful graphics so far.

Love that game LadyK. Such a shame the sequel didn't materialise.

Seems the longer you wait, the stronger the $US gets. Some 'experts' are saying $1US will soon enough buy $1.10EU instead of the other way around. These currency wars the central banks have unleashed on us are wrecking havoc with macro-economics everywhere!

I finished Darkness Within 2 . Liked it , but it was a bit tedious to play with the UI . After that , I played Secrets of Da Vinci again . Now that I have an AMD video card , I could play without windowed mode or any jitters . I started Gray Matter today . It's one of the many that I started , but never did finish completely . Alter Ego is on deck .

I never finished Grey Matter. I found it too tedious. I really enjoyed Darkness Within 2 and Alter Ego. I started Inner World but haven't gotten very far.

I agree Hats , to a point . The tedious part(s) of Gray Matter so far , have to do with the amount of steps needed for Sam to perform the magic tricks . Other than that , so far so good . I vaguely remember being distracted by another game when I played Gray Matter the first time . Alter Ego , I thought was excellent the first time ! . I'd like to get the new Sherlock Holmes game next . Then again , The Witcher 3 is just around the corner :-)

I remember hearing nothing but bad things about Alter Ego. Or maybe there are multiple Alter Ego games out there? Or maybe I'm crazy and thinking of a different game.

I finally solved the mystery of Post Mortem and will soon move on to Still Life.

I heard alot of bad about Alter Ego too but I had no problems with it. I enjoyed it very much. A good story and an unexpected ending. Post Mortem is one of my all time favorites. I liked Still Life too.If I remember correctly it has a very difficult robot spider puzzle.I was very glad when I got past it.
I think Alter Ego is the only game by that name.

Yes, I wish they had done the sequel for Toonstruck as well. It's such a great game, and I think it had the longest video sequence of any game I've ever played. Aside from wanting to gag Fluffy Fluffy Bunbun, I loved the voice acting, and the puzzles were great fun, if a bit mind melting at times.

I'm replaying Scratches. I finished the second day two nights ago and then had a devil of a time trying to get to sleep. Shocked

Lady Kestrel - What operating system are you playing Scratches on? I'd like to replay the updated director's cut, but I think I read the game had problems running on Win7?

lakerz I believe Lady K has a Mac. I will see if I can find my copy tomorrow and see if it plays on my win7. That game scared me more than once while playing it.
