I just learned today that LadyK tripped and fell about a week ago in her home. Her fall resulted in a broken ankle and a few days in the hospital. She is now home bieng taken care of by her hubby and sister.

LadyKestrel I was very sorry to hear of your injury. I hope you are feeling a little better now. I wish you the fullest and speediest recovery. And please let us know how you are doing.

LadyK! I really hope that you're okay and not in too much pain, and I hope it hasn't spoilt Christmas for you and that your family takes this opportunity to make a BIG fuss of you and make it an extra special Christmas for you after all. What a lousy thing to happen just before Christmas.

I was scanning the topics here in General Talk and was surprised to see this one with my name on it. I must have missed it during the Christmas rush. A belated thank you for your kind wishes, Hatshepsut and Gelert!

I have started putting weight on my foot, and I went for a physical therapy evaluation this afternoon, so I am progressing slowly but (hopefully) surely. *insert turtle emoticon here*

Personally I wish you a speedy recovery because I really want to see you back up on the beam like before!

I am curious as to exactly how you go about doing this as my feet could use a little extra weight. Do you like, put your feet in bowls of ice cream or place chocolate chip cookies between the toes?

Gosh Lady K, sorry to hear about this course of events. I sincerely hope the injury was not to your clutch foot, and if even should it be, like I know, please do your best with PT to make for a speedy (NPI) recovery.

My accelerator foot has always been a bit heavy, GF, but right now my left toes look like little overstuffed sausages. I think it's the chocolate chip ice cream I've been using to paint my toenails.

It'll be several weeks yet before I can use the clutch again, Camero, and I must say I'm feeling very housebound. I'll be good and do what the therapist tells me. My family has been good to me, but I do miss my independence.

When I read this, I KNEW GreyFuss would say something like that!!! LOL!!!
