I just found that one of my favorites was adopted yesterday! I am so excited for Gene. He is a 25 year-old leopard appaloosa and just a wonderful guy. He is sway-backed, but can carry a light rider. The trainer thinks he was a roping horse by how well-trained to leg and seat cues he is, plus he just wants to go, go, go! This is a video of the rescue Gene come in on almost exactly 1 year ago. Gene is the one who is white with little black spots all over. Get a hanky ready, but remember that these horses are all fat and sassy and most have been adopted to great homes.

AlienBZ, we were never at #1 in Missouri - the best we've been is #5. Stray Rescue in St. Louis has always been #1 and they are actually #12 in over-all ranking out of 1,000 shelters.

I know I voted early this morning at 1 a.m, but I was having a problem with my mac's Safari browser not accepting the latest Flash plug-in (when I tried to access my saved photo book at the Walmart website for editing this past Sunday afternoon) but I fixed this problem by d/l Firefox 3 on my mac, installed it, and Yay - poof! Away goes the problem I was having with Safari in a puff of smoke.

Now I'm able to not only access my saved book at the Walmart site, but I was able to throw in a second vote for your shelter today, Drac, and I was able to watch the Kitty Video that I couldn't watch before!
