You must be happy with this announcement Hats. Isn't Conspiracies one of your favorites? I am glad to hear that the game will have English Audio (I hope that means voiced) but I am hoping it won't be keyboard controlled like the first one but that may be wishing for too much. Thanks for the info.

Anestis Kokkinidis and his Lethal Networks team have, for a while, had their own Facebook page supporting the game. You can show your support there if its your 'cup of tea'. I have for a while. But not everyone's, I appreciate. Smile

It's here

Apologies if the link doesn't work. It does for me. Perhaps you have to be a member of Facebook. Otherwise, I'm stumped. scratch

The link works for me Gee and I am not a FaceBook member however the page is in Greek of course.

I am encouraged by this YouTube Demo Reel that the controls may be all mouse. Looks like a cursor and the movement may be by left click - hold move the mouse for direction. Anyone else think this or know what controls there will be. I am holding out for mouse control as I dislike using the keyboard and is why I never got into the first game. DEMO REEL

GreyFuss the control looks mouse controlled to me. I have contacted them again with the question of mouse or keyboard control.

Gelert that's ok I found them on facebook. I am stumped too about the link not working for me. My computer must be acting weird again scratch

GreyFuss it is combination keyboard and mouse like the first Conspiracies.

It's a 3D game, you can move anywhere in space, open drawers, closets, drag things and drive vehicles. It also has 2 1/2 hours of real actor scenes and 12 interactive locations.

I got so involved with the story in Conspiracies that once I got use to the controls I didn't notice them.

Ah...thats not possible for me. In fact quite the opposite as I can't get involved with any story that makes me look away from the screen and on to the keyboard. I do hope they do well with the game though as I appreciate their effort and determination to finish what they started.

That is really to bad GreyFuss. The story in the first one was so good. I have every anticipation that the second one will be as good if not better.
Have you tried keeping your fingers on the arrow keys ? That does help.

LOL...Can't stand it when you have to use 2 hands. Can't relax the shoulders and they end up all tense. Might as well play action games if that was the case. I will probably at least try the game but if it was like the first I am not holding out much hope that I will last long.

Well I am very sorry that you might not be able to play the game for the reasons you stated. IF you can't play the game I guess I will just have to play it for you.

You'd hate Outcast then GF. The keyboard controls really took some learning.

Boy! Was it worth it though ?!

I didn't mind the controls, but had to give up too.
For me it was the restricted inventory. Everytime I found an item I had to drop something on the floor. And then when I was stuck and wanted to try different things I had to search for all dropped items and drop others. That's where I gave up.
Anyone knows if #2 has this as well?

Actually I did try Outcast on your raving review of it Gee. Lasted about an hour. With me a game becomes too physical if I have to use two hands. Once I have to put my left hand on a keyboard or controller I consider the game to be action (my action) and not a game of the mind which is what attracted me to adventure game playing in the first place. If the first few games I tried were keyboard controlled instead of point & click back in 1995 then I would not be here talking to you now as I surely would not have enjoyed them and pursued it into addiction. Probably why I am not or ever was into any Console games either. Don't misunderstand me, I am not saying they are wrong just not for me.......

I will say that I loved the music in Outcast though.

I will try to get an answer to your question HandsFree. I had the same problem with inventory items. I solved the problem by going by to Nick's apartment and dropping all the inventory items on the living room floor and only carrying the items I thought I would need at the time.

HandsFree the inventory works almost the same way but with Conspiracies II there are unlimited places for items and there are some extra functions, like deep examine, examine click (like use) and other new features like throwing stones and many others.

I tried that too, but somehow I ended up with a full inventory everytime.
But if #2 doesn't have that problem maybe I try it.

lol HandsFree even with dropping things off at Nicks apartment I would end up with a full inventory too. I just love inventory items and I usually pick up every item that isn't nailed down whether I will ever use it or not.
