Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes Empty
PostSubject: Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes   Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes EmptySat May 07, 2011 2:05 am

Due for release later this year from Daedalic Entertainment. Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes the sequel to Edna & Harvey: The Breakout.

The Story

In Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes, players return to the world of adventure game hit Edna & Harvey: The Breakout. Be prepared to meet many old friends and discover many new hand-made cartoon locations, realized in full HD glory!
Lilli, a young girl at a convent school, is the main character of Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes. Seemingly the best-behaved little girl in the world, she executes all her chores in a diligent manner, no matter how unfair they may be. Her innocent, imperturbable way of carrying out the orders of others has something both tragic and eerie about it. Any angry thoughts, any childlike disobedience is buried deep beneath a seemingly impenetrable surface of sweetness. But how long will these feelings stay hidden? And where do the friendly little gnomes come from that paint over everything unpleasant in Lilli’s vicinity with a pleasant pink color? Are they real or just a product of her subconscious?

I finally got around to ordering the first Edna & Harvey game today, so that will give me a good indication as to whether the sequel is worth buying I guess. I think I will like it though.

I do enjoy these offbeat type of stories and I really like these type of graphics. Edna & Harvey the Breakout is still sitting in my to play pile so like you lakerz I'll have a better idea if I'll like the sequel or not Smile

I finally finished the first game and really enjoyed it, so I guess this will be on my for sure play list. I hope this second one doesn't have the same Java issues that I had with the first one.... couldn't get it to run unless I reinstalled Java each time I played it! You would think just having the newer version of Java installed would make it run, but I had to reinstall it every time. but, the game was worth it. I had lots of fun.

I asked in the Daedalic FB site if an english version of Harvey's new eyes will be published and the answer I got was "if the first part sales are good, then maybe....". Rolling Eyes
