Hey all... What's your favorite... PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA!!!

What's your favorite PIZZA?

We always order from this non-chain local place (and if it's closed because it's too late in the evening or Sunday – we just forget the whole idea). And we also order a small house salad, with their signature balsamic vinegrette, so famous they sell it in jars to take home.

They know us by name, and if we get delivery they always carry dog buscits.

What we almost always order, although they have a killer gourmet Greek pizza with special (not red) sauce and some great calzones, is what they call the "Italaiono."

This is pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, red onions, green pepper, black olives, of course motzerelli, and their special sauce which they make fresh every day (and we order extra sauce every time).

SO… are you Dominoes, Pizza Hut, or Pappa Muphy people?

And can you understand why anyone would put pineapple on a pizza?

The best place to get pizza here is Taco Tico. They put lots of sauce and cheese on their pizzas. If we go up to the big city we go to Ci Ci's pizza buffet. They make a good bbq pizza.

My favorite pizza is veggie thin crust pizza. Mushrooms, black olives, red onion and green pepper, lots of cheese and sauce.

Quite basic deep pan cheese and tomato, with TONNES of cheese! .................... and then MORE CHEESE!

Edit: Oh! I forgot. Then I sprinkle chilli powder and Worcestershire sauce on top .................. and more cheese! Lush!!!

About 15 years ago a local chain, Hungry Howie's, use to have limited time pizzas. These special "Different" pizzas would only be available for 4 weeks at a time. This particular pizza, which I couldn't get enough of, was offered I think twice that I knew of back then.

If I remember correctly the pizza was called the Coney Dog and here is what was on it...

Instead of tomato sauce there was chili sauce spread over the dough. Then smothered with chopped onions. Instead of pepperoni there was sliced hot dogs. Top it all off with a swirl of mustard and I was in heaven. It only came in one size, large, and this bachelor was living on them....I must admit that I was enjoying it more than some of my dates back then

All these pizzas sound so good it's making me hungry for pizza. I wonder can you get cheese on that Coney Dog pizza?

I forgot to mention that when I get pizza I get an order of cheese breadsticks and sauce.

I can't remember if they sprinkled a little shredded cheddar cheese on the Coney Dog or not. If they did it wasn't very much certainly not as much as the put on a regular pizza. But then you could have had them put anything on it as long as you were paying

Oh..and BTW Raj...I use to love Pineapple on a pizza. The Hawaian with Ham, Pineapple and something else (can't remember its been so long since I have eaten pizza).

What do you think of a pizza with fried eggs?

I think Pizza Hut and Ci Ci's still make a ham and pineapple pizza but I don't know what else they put on it. hmmm what else would go good with that pineapple and ham. GreyFuss just how long has it been since you've eaten pizza ?

Fried Egg pizza would that be like a breakfast pizza ? Would it have a mild sauce, onion, green pepper, bacon, mushrooms, black olives and lots of cheese on top ?

Is the fried egg pizza a speciality item ?

Fried egg on a pizza is just my idea. Sunnyside up and the runny yolk is all the sauce it needs. Maybe a swirl of catsup and a sprinkle of your favorite cheese.. For that matter a scrambled egg pizza sounds good with your favorite omelet ingredients on top sounds good also.

I think you might have a winner there with your scrambled egg pizza. You better get a patent on that recipe. Fried egg pizza, sunnyside up, runny yolk, cheese, I'll take that with an order of hashbrowns please.

I Love Pizza Hut Pan Pizza the best. Hubby says it's not real pizza though. My favorite potato chip is Pringles, which he also says isn't real but processed. Either way... YUM!
