| Hi, I'm Margaret and new to forums. It looks as though there are still plenty of people who like point-and-click stuff. I hate games with weapons and war themes but love games like Uru and the Myst series - I wish there were more like them around. If you know of any, please let me know. My favourites apart from those are The Longest Story and Gabriel Knight but I must have played hundreds of others from hidden object to CSI stuff, Dark Fall-type, Syberia 1 and 2. I generally keep the hidden object ones for when I've had a gruesome day and just want to concentrate on something not too taxing. But now I'm stuck in Rhem 4 and have posted a request for help to get me on my way again through that strange place. Oh yes, one of the best games ever is an oldie called Pandora's Box (NOT the Nintendo DS game, this is much older and a wonderful long trail through dozens of puzzles). If you ever find it, you'll miss out if you don't try it. See ya. | |

| Hi Margaret M and welcome to Adventure Point. It's nice to meet you I hope you enjoy the forums here as much as we do. Right off I can't think of any Myst like games but I'm sure some others here will have some ideas. hatshepsut | |

| Hi Margaret and a BIG welcome ! I've posted something that may or may not help in that thread. Fingers crossed. You're right. Pandora's Box, especially the extended edition, is an excellent game of puzzles. My niece used to play it all the time. Information on it is here in the database Pandora's Box | |

| Hi Margaret and welcome! Pandora's Box was the first game I played. Loved the puzzles. From there I went to adventures because they had puzzles in them. All I have time to play these days are the casual games, as they don't require major time committments. I have so many adventures to enjoy when I retire. (May the Dow Jones gods smile upon me!) | |

| Hi Margaret, glad you decided to create an account and join the community. You will find a lot of like minded people here with a love of adventure games. You may want to wander around the adventure database that you can access from the homepage of this website. Gelert has put together an impressive visual database of adventure games dating way back in time to the present. I've found some titles I've never heard of before. | |
