looking at the trailer for PlanetVenture, I see alot of classic arcade styles. A pac-man like maze and 2D joust type fly-thru. looks like a lot of fun.
As the Developers thread, here at Adventure Point, gets fuller, you may want to re-post this there also, so it doesn't get over-looked. Most game seekers will look at games on the main welcome page here at A.P. then the developers thread and may not be aware that they missed this post.
You're on all the big outlets, google-apps, ms-apps... - you really know your marketing.
I downloaded and played WoodLouse Rock Climbing. Nice game. clean game load entry and exit. Many developers don't write proper exits and I have to re-boot. Excellent 3D Maze on this one. The underwater maze, I've never seen anything like it. I usually don't read instructions but yours were short and to the point, great.
Also visited your website g-rantsgames.web.com love the RPG-tile background. I counted 12 games you have finished and available. That's a lot of work. I know a guy who's been working on a game since 1992 (A.D.) - it's still not finished.

Thanks a lot! Although most of my games are really just work in progress games and aren't finished. The % next to the name of the unfinished games on my website is how much of the game I've completed. So only two of my games are really finished. Thanks for all the complements too! It's nice to know someone likes more than just one of my games. That game that guy has been making since 1992 most be really nice! Could you tell me if he ever releases it?

Unfortunately he never finished his game. I wrote to him about it, it didn't happen for him.
Although this is mainly a gamers forum, there are several developers here also ( I can't mention them without their permission). Some of them have had very successful games.
Also, non-developer gamers and admins here, have a tremendous amount of useful game industry insights (sounds weird but it's true). I wouldn't hesitate to ask members here about game concepts you may be considering.
Please share some of your development experiences with us, as you climb the ladder of success.

Hey, I recently updated Planetventure. Here's the new trailer and the change log.
• Gamepad support (windows, and android) • leaderboards/achievements (Google Play) • help/hint button in game • lots of bug fixes • lots of polish • other small features added
It's out for windows phone now as well.

I will make a thread about some day if I ever do become successful. I've slowly been getting better both financial and as well as making my games better. Just in the last six weeks I've come close to doubling the money I made this year!
