| Well, now, I'm of two minds here ... I like that first screenshot very much, the second not so much, in fact, not at all. The first makes me ready for an adventure, sure 'nuff, but the second looks too sci-fi and therefore not very interesting as far as I'm concerned. Add to that I don't have a clue as to what "Obduction" means.
P.S. I didn't click on the News link as I tend to mess up when I click on a strange (to me) link. Sorry about that. | |

| mindysue Obduction means an act or instance of drawing or laying something (as a covering) over
Obduction is an adventure game set in a beautiful alien environment. Like Cyans other games Myst. Riven etc you are alone and must solve puzzles, explore your environment and try to discover why you are there.

For explaining obduction, the opposite of deduction, I guess. Another thanks for describing the game and helping me make up my mind. I'll just say that I hope you, Gelert, and Lady Kestrel enjoy the game. Oh, I should also include GreyFuss here as I'm sure he will like it. | |

| Myst is one of those iconic adventure franchises that I need to catch up on. A few of the games I've never played yet, including the online one that seemed to be popular but then went away. Heck, I've yet to play the remake of the first one which looked pretty cool. Maybe steam will have a compelling xmas sale on that one. | |

| I remember playing MOUL (Myst Online Uru Live) years ago and yes, it did just go away ... nothing new was being added for some time and it seemed as if they had stopped working on it and finally the game just disappeared, no explanation or anything. It was interesting when I first started playing and new things were being added to keep one going, but when nothing was changing or happening it obviously got boring. It liked it better than Myst while it lasted. | |
