Feb 2 the 82nd Annual Academy Awards nominations will be announced. We will have to wait until Mar 7 to see who takes Oscar home.
TCM will show Oscar winning movies all month while we wait.

Feb 11 the 20 th season of the ten year running Survivor will air.

Feb 14 Valentines Day. Sorry ladies it's not leap year.
Feb 15 Presidents Day
Feb 16 Mardi Gras

Feb 7 Super Bowl XLIV in Miami, Florida

When the Colts were in Baltimore they won Super Bowl V in 1971 by defeating the Dallas Cowboys 16 to 13. The Baltimore Colts were also in Super Bowl III but lost 16 to 7 to the New York Jets. Just as Jets Quarterback Joe Namath predicted. Since moving to Indianapolis in 1984 the Colts have won only one Super Bowl. On Feb 4, 2007 they beat the Chicago Bears29 to 17 in Super Bowl XLI in Miami.

This will be The New Orleans Saints first trip to the Super Bowl.

So I'll be glued to tv at 7:00 (my time) along with an estimated 150 million US viewers and an estimated one billion world wide viewers, cheering for my second favorite team The Saints to take home the gold and the glory

Yes Mystery Lover I'm a big football. Some friends and I used to play in a field behind our house. I got the wind knocked out of me more than once, but it was fun. I just watch the games now lol.

Sorry Lady Kestrel I forgot about that one. The Winter Olympics will start Feb 12 and run to Feb 28 I think.

LOL Gelert!! I forgot This isn't an American forum! To be honest, I have no idea why we call it football. Kicking is a small part of the game. Unless, of course, the field goal kick is made in the last 20 seconds of a game and it's the winning point...
