What game did you play that you absolutely didn't enjoy?

I've seen this topic elsewhere, bul I'll ask the question here.

What game have you played that you disliked so much you either didn't finish it...or made yourself finish...but would never play again. I do realize we have different tastes in games, so opinions will probably not be universal.

For me it was the game "Rhem" The game just made me feel so isolated and depressed (which I suppose since your character was isolated, might have been a good thing) I just HAD to get through the game and finish it.

I have not ventured into any of the sequels...although I know that many have thoroughly enjoyed this series.

None that I've hated, but Dementia (aka Granny, aka Armed and Delirious), drove me around the bend.

I can't think of any game that I hated. I did become irritated with Chateau d'Or towards the end and didn't finish it.

I did not like nor finish SALAMMBO: Battle for Carthage. Just could not get into it.

I pretty much like all the games I've played ( with the exception of trial hours for some casual games ) but I have been disappointed in the endings sometimes. I hate when you are playing a great game, so interesting, good story, beautiful graphics... and your 100% into it, can't wait to get to the end, and it was so boring or anti-climatic. It's like going up a giant roller coaster hill, and the drop is only like 5 feet at the bottom!

I guess "hate" is a very strong word, so I edited the title to something more appropriate.

Gabriel Knight 3. 'Disliked' really everything about it. When I finished it I had to read a walkthrough to find out what it was about, cause everytime I did something that stupid clock moved on and prevented me from doing almost everything that was needed.
The worst graphics (not that that's too important), Grace that tranformed from supercool in GK1 into this archetype of selfishness. And then the finale consists of a silly monsterfight (notice how I'm not even mentioning Sydney?).

Loved Salammbo, by the way.

Recently, Harvey & Edna: The Breakout (aka Edna brichts aus). After all those positive comments I read about it, many nearly 100% scores in reviews, and dozens of awards in the German press, the game didn't even turn out average. Mundane, ugly, unfunny and badly designed.

Fortunately, I haven't played a game yet that I disliked. Even Adventure at the Chateau d' Or, my least favorite game, had some good points.

We always used to call it Adventure at the Crapeau d'Odor. That was a bad game. I did finish it, though.

More recently, I have quit a number of adventure games just because they seem so soulless and offer nothing new. I'm not going to name any, because I feel like they're probably not bad games and I am just too jaded.

I have a list of 162 games that I never finished for one reason or another. Could have been I didn't like the controls, couldn't get into it, too much talking or maybe the puzzles just weren't blended well with the game play,. For different reasons I wasn't having a good time. Some I gave up early some I gave up late in the game. I will give a few of them another try but not many. So I have too many to list here so I will give you the latest disappointment, one that I had high hopes for but they didn't deliver for me. Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper. I finished the game because I wanted to see how they were going to wrap up such a famous story and in that respect they did very well. But for all the great things they did right with the game play in Awakened and Nemesis they took 2 huge steps backwards in the game play with Ripper.

I totally and absolutely hated Johnny Mnemonic, the FMV genre has given us some really bad titles, probably la crap de la crap in the adventure world
I also found Universe rather puke-inducing, definitively the worst interface ever
