No, that wasn't me, HandsFree. GreyFuss is correct. Alida is one of my all-time favorites. Mr. Bill's site has my review.

A note from LadyKestrel: I was so confused with the peghead and another conundrum (not to be mentioned yet) that I thought my copy of the game should be retitled Aliduh.

Heh. I don't remember where I said that, but the "duh" refers entirely to my initial lack of comprehension of a couple of puzzles, not to the game itself. I made the solution to the peghead puzzle much more complicated than it needed to be and kept missing a vital clue for another one because I looked everywhere except in the essential direction. When I finally figured these things out, I should have called it "Ah-ha-lida."

Well, I enjoyed Alida too, but needed that walkthrough a bit too often to file under favorites.
