Do You Have A New Years Resolution?

I am not much of a resolution maker but if I was to make one it would be to spend less time in front of these computers in the coming year.

How about you?

I don't usually make New Years Resolutions but if I did it would be to finish my rock garden and to clean out and organize my shed.

Resolutions:
Throw out the clogs that led to my broken ankle.
Play more adventure games.
Read more.
Write more.

Maybe it was all the chocolate that made the bones brittle in the first place

According to my last bone scan, I have osteopenia but not osteoporosis, and I do take my daily calcium supplement as well as a healthy dollop of chocolate. However, when a substantial falling body lands on something skewed out of proper alignment, something's got to give. In this case it was my ankle and its ligaments.

Is osteopenia similar to osteoporosis ? Or are they completly different things? I hope there wasn't to much damage to your ligaments.

I like your new years resolution. Especially the playing more games and reading more.

To get rid of the tummy which arrived over Christmas. I must exercise and sit ups are so hard to do.

I want to play more games, because my collection of unplayed games is getting totally out of hand.

But more than that, I want to spend more time on friends and loved ones.

It matters so much to me and yet I have a chronic illness that keeps me tripping off the face of the earth.

Obviously, right now is good for me.

I am posting on a number of sites, have actually seen Jen and Scout in the fleshes.

And can think seriously about a resolution for the new year.

May your own resolutions mean so much to you that you successfully achieve them...
PS-- I also want to play more text games! 9:05, Nord and Bert, Mother Goose, Wishbringer, and so much more. Really, the graphics are best when they only exist in your mind.

I have quite a few resolutions.

Here are some of them:

Health
Do my knee exercises every day - Haven't been so good with this one.
Get a pedometer - Done!
Walk at least 5000 steps a day - I'm up to a little over 3000 a day, woohoo! Slowly but steadily getting there.

Hobbies
Finish my game backlog - Chugging right along on this objective!
Go to the board game group meetings - Haven't done it yet.
Play a new adventure game every month - So far so good.

Read better books
I'm going to at least attempt to read every book that has won one of the following awards in the fiction category:
The Hugo Award
The Nebula Award
The Pulitzer Prize
The Booker Prize

That last one I won't get done in a year. Maybe in 4 years.
