After the overwhelming success ( Wink

), of Quiz #1, I've put up another on Adventure Point's Quiz Page. I hope I've done it correctly, otherwise, the following explanation is a waste of time. Fingers crossed ........ I'm new to this quiz setting lark and, if I've made any major answer-giving blunder, I may have to start it over. Pretty sure it's okay though. scratch

As before, you'll have to, I'm afraid, have Excel on your PC or, otherwise, take GreyFuss' advice from the thread of Screenshot Quiz #1 and find a work-around. Sorry about that, but I only know how to do these in Windows Excel (I'm on a steep self-learning curve).

To make this a bit of seasonal fun, send me a private message (p.m. or m.p., or whatever it's called scratch

), with your score and the list of the games to prove you're not saying little fibs and I'll post up the list of scores as we go along. Closing date for entries will be 17th January, midnight UK time (GMT).

Since this is the 'End of Decade' edition of the screenshot competition, there's a prize for one lucky high scorer. Not only will the ACTUAL highest scorer gain the unlimited admiration of his, or her, fellow Adventurers but, also, out of the top SIX highest scorers (so that could be more than six people if the sixth highest scorers are tied), I'll randomly, and fairly, draw the winner of the prize.

The prize itself is a nice little 'mystery prize' Adventure game (new and sealed), that I just happen to have here sitting impatiently, waiting for a new home. Of course, if it's a game the winner of the drawing already has, or doesn't want, he, or she, is at liberty to become someone's best friend by passing it up, and I'll draw another name out of the hat. I'll post the game on at my expense too .... so you've nothing to lose!

You can P.M. me as often as you like, or wait until near the end. That makes no difference. But, don't leave it too late. As before, the answers you type in for the games have to be exactly as I have them. Otherwise, you'll always get an 'Incorrect' response. Apologies, but that's just the way it is. Neutral

Also, you'll see that the quiz is actually open to anyone that visits the Quiz Page - not just forum members. However, only by sending me a private message via the forum can a person be entered into the final drawing, meaning that for entrants to be eligible for the prize they must be forum members, and, if a new member since the start of the contest, will need to have introduced themselves, by saying a quick hello on the forums.

Although the answers must be written exactly so as to get a 'CORRECT' response from the page. That's not important for submission of correct answers. Provided the title is full, and correct, punctuation is NOT important (even though the Excel program will give you an 'INCORRECT' response if you include it).

THERE IS NO PUNCTUATION included in the game title answers. No colons, semi-colons and no apostrophe's.

However, full game titles are important. If, for instance, you p.m. me with the title of a game Cameron Files, it will not be accepted as correct. The same goes for non-inclusion of subtitles of games. SUBTITLES are included. ...... Amber Journeys Beyond, for instance will be accepted. Amber on its own will not. Sorry if this sounds over-fussy.

If you've solved the screenshot clues without getting a 'CORRECT' response from the software, i.e., purely by recognising them, that's fine. But I need to have the full title of the game from you in a p.m. for you to be credited with a correct answer.

By the way, the titles aren't case sensitive. So, that's one plus, at least. Smile

That's fine HandsFree. There's absolutely no harm in you competing for one here as well. Or you can pass on it if you win in the drawing. It's up to you if, and when, the time comes.
