Off to California

You will not see me as much for the next two weeks. We leave for California.. supposed to be working at the Lakehouse... pulling weeds... etc.... but it has been raining and snowing for almost 2 weeks now... so this might turn into a just stopping by to say hello trip... I will try and find a computer every now and then .. till then....

winfrey drop in when you can to let us know how you are doing. We wil miss you. Have a nice and safe trip. And please remember to pay your boarding and deboarding fees

You guys must keep yourself a duplicate wardrobe and toiletries at the Lakehouse so you don't have to pay for checking a lot of bags for all the flights you take. Have fun with Mr Pineneedles.

Don't they have Lakehouses in Tennessee?

Have a good and safe trip Win. I still can't believe it snowed in California. I was going to say bring us back some California weather but I'll take a pass, unless it's sunny and warm. Enjoy yourself

Thanks everyone.... well we are off...... and yes it is raining in California right now.... snowing at my sister in laws where I am supposed to stop off at ...hmmmm.
And yes GreyFuss... fully loaded lakehouse... we will be there July and August if you would like to visit.... and watch the ducks float by

But July and August is the best time for around these parts. Maybe the first annual Adventure Point Party could be held there a the Lakehouse in July and August. Everyone here would be invited for a week of fun and boating. What do ya say? Do you have enough room for 20 or 30 of us?

Glad you made it safe and sound, Win. How is the weather. I hope while you are basking in the warmth of sunny California you'll send some sun to those of us in the north freezing our what nots off.

The weather is not so bad.. it did not rain yesterday and it is not supposed to today.. we are leaving Los Gatos today and heading up the mountain to my sister is laws where my mother is.. I will stay with them for a few days as Carol heads over to the lakehouse to start spring cleaning--- mostly weeding... we have a ground cover (lippia)which is actually a weed so we can not use a weed killer on it so she pulls the grass... and other stuff out by hand.. LOL ... me I would let everything grow..

Are you still in California Win, hope you are enjoying some nice sunny weather out there. We have some sun here today, but it's still cold, but not too cold for a bbq. When the mood hits him hubby bbqs in the winter, only problem with that is the food is usually cold by the time he brings it in the house

Yes, Star I am still in California, with my mom right now.. Friday mom, brother and sister in law all drive over to the lake house and I will stay with Carol until the 6th when we get ready to go home.

Alien... you are right not much time to game when I am here for such a short period of time.... left my laptop home and don't have a real good one here... although I do have one so I will bring a game with me when I come back in July and Augusst...

Bring us back some sun Win, we have two days of rain here today and tomorrow. Could use the nice warmth
