Alpha Polaris New Trailer

As the June 24th release date for Alpha Polaris draws closer Turmoil Games has released a new trailer found Here

I didn't watch much of the trailer as I got the feeling I might be looking at some spoilers.

The file for the full version is only 635MB so I decided to purchase the download version and burn it to my own disc avoiding the additional $10 charge.

I am just not getting over the giant sized stills & dialog boxes every time anyone says anything. Very off putting & according to the developer no way to turn it off.

I don't particularly agree regarding the brief mention of the stills near the end though. I agree with GF, especially when several people are engaged in conversation it gets very disruptive. I would have appreciated something more subtle, like for instance they way they were used in The Rockin' Dead.

I am not familiar as to how they used it in The Rockin Dead but the few games that I have seen it done they would have a small still at the bottom right or left of the screen with the written dialog at the bottom also. Some games at least allow you to turn it off or on.

The download is reasonably priced at $19.9 5 Looks like the discount code option has been disabled on the new hosting site. Guess I got lucky.
