I've been having a tough week myself. Post Christmas, my mom fell ill due to just being exhausted from hosting family in her house. She is getting up in years and just cannot do everything for everyone like she is used to doing. Just try to tell her that however, heh. But between trying to help her recover and un-decorate her house to box up all the Christmas stuff is quite the challenge. Combine that with me trying to successfully complete the healthcare exchange system here in Cali has really kept me occupied. As of now, the healthcare exchange has combated me every step of the way, LOL. It's amazing in a way, almost like solving an extremely bug ridden adventure game. One would think I would be up for a challenge like that! Alas, at this point I'm just kind of annoyed at all the wasted hours I've spent up to this point. Oh well, life goes on, and I'm sure 2014 will improve.

Happy New Year lakerz, good for mum, she still keeps trying. I know all too well about the stubbornness of seniors my mother-in-law was that way. And of course she had this no one tells me what to do attitude. I hope mum has a lot of good Xmases to come still decorating and entertaining. Give her my best   

Thank you, she is more or less back to her usual routine now. Had to go see the doctor for anitbiotics for her bronchtitis which always seems to trigger with the flu. She does like to socialize and entertain, and woe be to the person who stops her from doing what she loves. :-)
