From the "tell tale screenshot" I have a feeling I haven't played this game as I don't recognize the character as one I would play. That being said I will take a shot in the dark and say Ugly Prince Duckling?

That's from Majestic: Alien Encounter, GreyFuss. It's an oldie I never got to play.

LK, I think you are the only one that correctly guesses this game where ever I use it. This was a little gem that I discovered in the bargain bin when they had those at Comp USA back in 1996. Its not a great game but I did love playing it because its point & click, first person and Sci Fi. You are next.

I think there was supposed to be a second part to Majestic, GF, but I'm not sure it was ever made.

I don't know if Symbiocom (Syn-Factor) was what the developers initially thought Part 2 of Majestic: Part 1 Alien Encounter would be but it is the next game from them and there is references to the Majestic in it so I am guessing that it has a tie in and quite possibly be Part 2. Zero Critical was the 3rd game and was different from the first 2 as far as it being in 3rd person. IMO it wasn't as good as Majestic and Symbiocom were.

As far as your screenshot, that library looks familiar and could be from a number of games but not with that character as she does not look familiar at all.

You are correct, HandsFree. I left out the main character because her purple polkadot shirt and red hair are unmistakeable.

Unmistakeable? Actually I think a lot of adventure women look alike. Lara, Lea, Nina, Eve (well, maybe that shirt...).

I didn't click send twice. I think it has something to do with moving back/forth. When I moved away I got a timed out error. Then I refreshed and got a double post...

I don't think Crystal Valley is casual, but I haven't played it yet (LadyKestrel?).

I think Crystal Valley would be classified as an "adventure-lite." It was available initially through Big Fish. I played it and it had more adventure elements to it...albeit it was on the short and easy side. I did enjoy it, though!

Double posting occurs sometimes when the website is doing it's regular website maintenance.

It's Monet: The Mystery at the Orangerie Museum, HandsFree.

The Legend of Crystal Valley is definitely a third person adventure game with mostly inventory-based puzzles and a few mechanical ones thrown in. It's not a long game, and there are a few annoying pixel hunts, but there are no hidden object scenes. I agree with JK that the puzzles themselves are fairly easy. I still enjoyed the game, but I was disappointed with the ending.

Yes, it's Monet. Also short and easy.
