Blue Ice - Box Info

Hey. I am after some info on the boxed release for the game Blue Ice.
Does this have a big box english release or just the dvd case? I am convincing myself that I have seen a big box english version somewhere in my travels, but it may have just been the italian or german versions.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

There's no English big box version to my knowledge. But from collector's perspective and value there's contrary a small boxed version exactly like this one:

It's smaller than usual DVD keepcase and little bit bigger then normal CD ROM disc.

Hi Mullane. Wallymian is exactly right. Perhaps a little bigger though. It's quite nice and does crop up on eBay occasionally.

That's the only boxed version I've ever seen also. It is roughly DVD box in size, perhaps a bit taller.

Gelert & Lakerz, you're right just checked mine and it's bigger than my description was -- and I would bet on it until then, it's actually very small.

Now I won't search in vain for a non-existant item. I might just fill a german big box with the english dvd/box (if I can find it).

I could have swore that I had seen a big box being auctioned at ebay about a year ago or so of Blue Ice. I think I even put a bid on it. The box looked to have the same graphics as the Keepcase did. Now I don't drink or do drugs so am going bonkers?

Or do you mean the dvd case art?

Now that you have mentioned this one I do recall also seeing one like it. But the one my memory is giving me is a big box that has the same graphics as the keepcase one...maybe I should have a few puffs of a big fat one to help my memory

Hi everybody! I took a few shots of my own copy of “Blue Ice”, so that you can see exactly what it looks like. It’s the european multilingual edition (English-German-French-Spanish) and it comes in a carton box which is smaller than a usual “big box” (I placed it next to a DVD case in the first photo to give you an idea of its size). In the last photo you can see the contents: The jewel case that keeps the CD, a 40-page manual in 4 different languages, the registration card and a booklet with poems that are supposed to give you hints about some of the puzzles. It’s a used copy which I found in Greece several years ago but the original owner assured me that he had bought it brand new and sealed and nothing was missing.









It's a rare game, indeed. I just checked on ebay and there is currently only one english copy on sale for $40 (it's the DVD-cased edition)!

I wish to have such a power. Because when I do apartment crawl and looking for anything to eat there are just game boxes instead of bread and butter.

Lakerz, I'm equally confused - thus to sum it up, there is Italian big box version as well as Portugese. But the smaller boxed version is about English, German, French and Spanish.
At this point, I see no collision in any of the languages - so these two might have been released in different and bigger boxes as they were not covered in initial multilingual version.

Perhaps I just remember seeing that small english box and assumed it was a large box. And perhaps Greyfuss seen another for sale without that outer slipcase?

That boxed version is nice, no doubt.
