| I'm playing Amber Journeys Beyond right now. I'm playing on Win 98 SE. The screen is very small I have tried several different resolutions but it still stays a small screen. Is this the way the game came out or am I not doing something right to get a full screen ?

| Hi Hat...
I played this game a number of years ago with ML. I recall it played normally, and that we had no issues playing it. We also played on a Windows 98SE machine.

| jkeerie did it play in full screen ? I'm not really having any issues or problems with it. It just isn't playing in full screen and I wondered if it played this way or if it was something that I haven't done to get it to play in full screen.

| Hi hats! I'm going to dig out my Amber box this afternoon and try it on my old Windows 98 SE PC. I can't promise success, but I'll give it a shot. Watch this space. | |

| Okay. I loaded it up and everything looks fine. It fills the screen ............... but it's in letterbox format. That means the screen is mostly frame with the gameplay taking place in a letterbox-shaped area within the frame. If that's what you've got that's what you should have. It's meant to be like that. That's what Hue Forest Entertainment intended. Does that help? | |

| As I recall, Gelert...and it has been some time since I played the game....it wasn't windowed, but letterbox does ring a bell. | |

| Yes JK. Apparently (I've just read), it was done to create a film feel and to enhance atmosphere during certain parts of the game, where parts of the surround are used t enhance the effects. | |

| That is interesting Gelert. The game certainly has alot of atmosphere and keeps me feeling there is something there just out of my vision.
