I do like this music on the front page but it seems so familiar although that may be due to the many times I have listened to it. I just can't figure it out as nothing is coming to mind.

I have no idea, sound like I heard it before but can find the game.

Clue . . . . It's a freeware game. Most games "we talk about" are commercial games. This is well known.

I've run a small feature on this game. Couple of paragraphs.

I love adventuregame music (well, not all of it of course ), but in spite of the hints I haven't found it yet.

I can't find the small feature Gelert speaks of on a Freeware adventure game.

Ha-ha! Finding that is a puzzle in itself. I'll give you a clue. You can find it via the Home Page (directly), but not via the menu. That should give it to you. It was one paragraph actually.

Just a wild guess cause I still don't remember it.

Could it possibly be from the Marionette?

Yes. It is. You can access the previous version of the Home Page, with the Preview of The Marionette on it, from a link at the bottom of the current Home Page.
