| This was posted at Game Boomers by Michael himself linking us to a free game download that was not made by him but Parody's his Carol Reed Games. The games Name?...Darryl Creed. If you like Carol Reed games you may like this too. I am playing it now. - Quote :

Loc: Sweden This is, without exaggeration, the most fun I've had this year. It's a freeware game called "Darryl Creed", and is a parody of the Carol Reed games. (I might add that I'm the developer of the Carol Reed games, for those who don't know).
It's made by a Swedish team, and set in the town Uddevalla.
I'm surprised that I hadn't heard of this game before, since it's been out since August 2009.
Be warned that there is some violence in the game. It's not realistic though, and no blood is visible. There is also some mild swearing.
Unfortunately, the sound doesn't work on Windows 7.

| Well done I have to say since it's a free one. Beautiful photography although our hero's lines hardly make me feel like a hard core killer for hire. (not that I would have any such knowledge of course) Wish I could find that darn broken CD. Oops, never mind.

| Hi CB, nice to see you again.
I thought Darryl Creed was a wonderful diversion. Not very long though. I think you would have to be a Carol Reed Fan to enjoy it. The photography isn't up to par with Michaels last couple Carol Reed games after he abandoned the water color filter but a wonderful showing of the area. Heres hoping their next game is as entertaining. Its also great that Michael is OK with this and really gave them a shot in the arm as it has been out a long time but nobody knew about it until Michael brought it to everyones attention at GB. | |
