| I think some of you know that I have been volunteering at a Horse Riding Therapy Center... one of the benefits is I get to ride the horses... one horse Cassie is my favorite to ride and I do at least twice a week and some times on the weekend... this is good for the horse and good for me. I went on my first Trail ride and had a blast... I have attached a link so you can see Cassie and me .... she is a cutie....
Here is a picture of me and Cassie... She is going to put more on face book I will provide a link when she does.... isn't Cassie a good looking girl

| Welll....look atch you girl. Gettin on that horse and ride. Do you do everything? Saddle and bridal her up? If you do does that little English saddle stay on or do you spin under the horse. I remember a time when I competed in an event where you stood next to an undressed horse, the saddle, blanket, bridal and all was on the other side of the corral. You had to race down, pick up all the gear, run back to your horse (hoping he doesn't start to walk away) completely Tack him up, mount him and the first one to cross the line at the other end of the corral won. Well...I was up against some stiff competition and I wasn't all that experienced. I hadn't done much tacking at all let alone do it as fast as I could. I rushed and started to panic when I noticed I was losing so I just threw the saddle on without strapping it, ran and jumped on top of the horse, almost spinning the saddle off, grabbed the horse around the neck, gave her a swift kick and yee haa, hung on for dear life as I raced full gallop to the finish line and....won. Of course I was disqualified but watching the video was hilarious. Thor must be jealous of you when you come home smelling of horse. Ahem...I really haven't heard a horse referred to as "cute" before. | |

| Yes, I do it all.... groom her and saddle her up. She is a very good horse... very gentle with this inexperienced rider. I think the scariest part is going down a steep hill.... and yes Thor does smell me... when I get home.... we took him on a hike actually where we rode that day... this place has their own horses about a dozen... We usually get Thor on a leash before we get to any cattle or horses but missed this time... he ran into the corral and chased a few of the horses.... sure was glad he did not get hurt. I would love to see that video of you GreyFuss... REALLY!! | |

| That's funny GreyRuss, I can see you riding the horse from it's under belly bumping your head on logs and rocks. Glad you had a good time Win, are you more comfortable now riding. I thought when you said it was English riding that you would be riding side saddle. I don't know how anyone could ride that way, I'd be sliding off onto the ground. | |
