New Year's Good Deed

Happy New Year fellow gamers, well I've done my first good deed for the year and I hope it doesn't backfire on me like it always does.

I've been collecting these Kraft Recipe magazines since 2005. I had quite a collection but never used them. I'm really not that crazy about cooking with salad dressing and miracle whip. So I decided I was going to toss them in the garbage, till hubby says to me, "let me see if anyone on Kijiji is looking for them." He comes across a message from a lady whose sister used to collect them and who loved to cook, but her sister's house burned down and she lost them all, so the lady wanted to surprise her sister and replace them for her. She picked the mags up this morning and was just delighted. At least someone will get some good use out of them instead of them sitting in a landfill. I just hope this good deed doesn't go punished.

In the famous words of Phil Smith, "one man's trash". I hope they stop coming though, I put in a unsubscribe to Kraft, but you know once they get your name, maybe someone else could use the next books.

If they keep sending the mags, I'll hang on to them in case someone else might be able to use them. So there's sort of a positive there in a way
