| Ah, Gelert, you picked one of my all-time favorites! I think it's time I revisited that one.
Dalilah, I've heard some of the instrumental music from the Syberia games, but that one is a first for me. It's terrific!
Here's another one I love: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXu6ZYy2WLg |

| Lady K...that is absolutely my most favorite music of all the fantastic music from the Myst series.
SweetDalilah..that was a fantastic song in a fantastic game and was a great reward for finally getting Helena Romanski to come with you to perform at Komkolzgrad even though it turned out to be a trap it was worth it to see that the old girl still had it.
Here is one of my most favorite songs in an adventure game.....Can you guess from what game?

| For those of you who remember playing this game when it first came out before the Internet and Walkthroughs you will know how this music was ingrained into your mind due to listening to it for weeks and weeks while playing the game.
Here is the remix of all the music in Shivers which brings back fine memories for me and is in my top five games for all around music.

| I've been following that thread Hats . Outcry has been , my opinion , one of the better games to come along in recent times .
On a side note , I'm not sure if anyone knows of this , but , Dreamcatcher/TAC is now under the umbrella of JoWood studios , producer of the Gothic games . |

| Am I geeting mixed up, or did Jo Wood make Jack Orlando too? I always hoped there'd be a sequel. _________________ An Adventurer's strength flows from the Point'n'Click Force. But beware The Dark Side my friend.Anger,rage,aggression.The dark side of the gaming Force are they.Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. If once you start down the dark path of RPGs, Action-Adventures or . . eek! . . | Jack Orlando is on the JoWood site , Gelert . I found out about Dreamcatcher/TAC yesterday when I went to the dreamcatcher web site , & was automatically re directed to the JoWood site . The site does seem to have a problem though . When the site appears , I get a message that I don't have the latest version of Flash , or that Java isn't enabled . All 3 of my browsers (FF , IE , & Chrome) display the same thing . Both Java & Flash player are up to date . |

| Gelert and Faust hi Jack Orlando: A Cinematic Adventure originally released 1997 was produced and developed by TopWare Interactive. In 2001 Jack Orlando: A Cinematic Adventure (Directors Cut) was produced by JoWood. JoWood has been the parent company for Dreamcatcher and TAC for awhile now. JoWood filed for bankruptcy awhile back. At the time negotions for their bankruptcy weren't successful. I really haven't had any news of where they stand now. I don't know how Dreamcatcher or TAC will be affected. Altough TAC seems to be open for business. I don't think Dreamcatchers website has been working since the news about JoWood. I'll see if I can find some recent news on JoWood. hatshepsut _________________ She Who Would Be King

| The TAC web site (www.adventurecompanygames.com) is a dead domain , & any attempt to access it through the Dreamcatcher/JoWood site , turns up as an error 404 "file not found" . |

| So TAC cannot be accessed from either their old website or from JoWood ? That's not a good sign. But JoWood's website can still be accessed ?

Yes , Hats . I will say though , that the selection of Dreamcatcher/TAC titles is very limited . Perhaps the site is being upgraded ? |

| Faust the latest information I could find on JoWood was April 24 of this year. The news is that JoWood was unable to reorganize and is shutting it's doors. It was unknown at that time what the future of Dreamcatcher would be. Even though JoWood was the parent company, Dreamcatcher was still an independent publisher. So it is entirely possible that Dreamcatcher splintered off from JoWood and is reorganizing. I hope so anyway. Dreamcatcher has brought us many good adventure games.
This is a quote from the article I found about JoWood: ''Game Over For Publisher JoWood Entertainment April 24, 2011. Sad news today for fans of the likes of Painkiller and the Gothic series. It appears that publisher JoWood Entertainment is on its last legs, with no hope of recovering from beneath the weight of crippling debt. JoWood Entertainment filed for bankruptcy back in January, seeking a stay of execution to attempt capital reorganization. The publisher had hoped that they would be able to source new investors to allow them to rise out of bankruptcy. Now, according to German news site Boerse-Express, it appears the two investors most likely to have saved the company have withdrawn their interest. Under standard bankruptcy policy, with no hope in site, the news site is reporting that the company could soon find its individual properties sold off to repay creditors. Despite finding surprise success with action RPG effort Torchlight back in 2009, with sales in excess of 750,000 copies, the Austrian publisher endured a disastrously unprofitable 2010, marred by the less than stellar performace of Arcania: Gothic 4, and ever-increasing debt in recent years. The future of JoWoods properties, including the likes of Arcania:Gothic 4 and its upcomingexpansion along with the once stellar Painkiller IP, is as yet unknown. Fans of Torchlight need not fret however, developer Runic Games has entered into a partnership with Chinese publisher Perfect World for the upcoming Torchlight II. JoWood acquired Canadian publisher Dreamcatcher Games in 2007 to move in on the North American gaming market. The future of the Dreamcatcher is currently unknown.'''

| Interesting info Hats ! Perhaps JoWood got over extended , & was too far gone to recover . I suppose only time will tell what will happen with Dreamcatcher/TAC . I do hope they survive , as I also think they game us some great games ! Maybe they can partner with another company ! |

| Yes Faust JoWood had been in financial difficulty for several years. A previous bankruptcy helped them some several years ago but this time they were just to far in debt apparently.
I really don't know how the economy is in Canada where Dreamcatcher is based but I hope they are able to survive. I'm trying to find some news on them now. It seems like I saw something awhile back on another forum. If you find out anything let us know.

Oh you mean to put links instead of videos? But it's easier this way, because clicking links doesn't always work for me, so then my browser freezes for a minute or so and I have to click again. And this way I can listen to more videos at the same time, whithout opening more windows. And suprisingly, that Amnesia music doesn't scare me at all. |

| It was just the way I put that up there SD . I haven't been awake very long , was easier at the time . Out of curiosity , is IE your main browser ?
I've always loved the dark , sinister music myself . Maybe atmospheric music would be a more applicable term . |
