| Thank you so much Hats and jkeerie, it's actually been a birthday week for me. Hubby couldn't wait till my birthday so we had our Chinese food last week. He bought me some PS2 stuff, a coconut banana cake and a card. And yes BZ I did get two PS2 games, Suikoden 3 & 4 and some memory cards. I got a $5.00 gift certificate from Content Paradise so I'm looking at a couple of models over there for my other games. We have a sunny day so that's another plus. In case anyone is wondering I'm the big 57 today. Later I'll have an extra piece of cake for everyone and then tomorrow back on the old treadmill. Well I'm off, take care everyone and thank you once again | |

| Thank you tsampikos, love your picture. I feel pretty good today, the fall down the stairs is a bad memory now. I was thinking today about the very first birthday present my hubby gave me. It was a popcorn maker, I still have it and it still works. Our first date he took me to see Ghost Busters and he couldn't believe that I ate a whole bucket of popcorn myself. So he thought that since she loves popcorn that much. I should take a picture of it to show everyone | |

| Happy Birthday Starlite Moon So both your Popcorn maker and your husband have lasted all these years...priceless I used to be a huge popcorn eater. The best popcorn to me is the kind you make right on the stove top using white popcorn, bacon grease rather than oil or Crisco and topping it off with real Land o lakes salt free butter. Sadly I don't eat much any more as popcorn gives me a headache and makes me nod out. Like you it was nothing for me to go to the movies and get the biggest bowl of popcorn they had and soak it with plenty of butter and a jumbo coke and finish it off before the halfway mark of the movie. Then they came out with the unlimited refills on the popcorn and drink and I was in heaven. Next time try fall UP the stairs. | |

| Thank you once again everyone for your greetings. I'm glad that cake is finally finished. It was good but my gawd it was filling GreyFuss, when I told hubby how you used to make popcorn, he said, "genius". He is a big bacon grease fan, his mother used to cook with it all the time. Although it's not something I'll be doing with my popcorn in the future. I'm surprised the theatres don't come out with bacon grease topping for popcorn. Oh no now hubby wants to give your method a try | |

Let me know what your husband thinks Starlite but the bacon grease is not a "topping" (see quote) for the popped corn...it is what you use instead of oil or grease to pop it with on the stove. I found that the bacon grease had just the right amount of salt added to the corn and that is why I liked to use Land-O-Lakes Salt Free real Butter (no margarine) so the taste of salt didn't overtake the real flavors of corn & butter. And when you use white popcorn it tastes just like it did when you were a kid before they started with all the hybrids. | |
