| Thank you so much Hats, hubby is just going wild today, I'd hate to see what he's got planned for next year's birthday when I turn the big 6 - 0. He made me breakfast this morning, bought me coconut ceylons, 2 PS3 games and tomorrow he is getting us Chinese food. He's still talking about buying me more stuff but I said no, enough is enough. It's an inner struggle about getting that coconut banana cake, but I have to watch the sugar. I've been battling with high blood pressure lately but it's starting to come down. Yesterday we took my BP and it was 129/92, not too crazy about the 92 but it's better than 158/90 at the doctor's office. Today I have to take it easy, I've been doing PS tuts and now my back is aching. I told myself I wasn't going to do them anymore but then those little gems catch my eye and I can't resist. I'll post the ones I've been working on. Thank you once again for the birthday wish, will let you know how the cake battle goes. | |

| Hi StarLite - glad to hear things are going pretty well for you. Happy 59th birthday!
I also had a full physical recently and found out my triglyceride level was in the high range. He prescribed me Fenofibrate to help lower it, but I'm going to try a more natural way first. Tweak my diet, cut down on the alcohol, and try taking the fish oil capsules since I read that omega 3 helps cut it also. My blood pressure was also a concern, the first time I took it, I got a 120/90. A month later they took it again, and it was 120/78. I should probably start taking a daily reading myself to keep track of it.
Wish you and other AP'ers a healthy year!

| Very interesting. 59th year, blood pressure , this all reminds me of an Incident I had at Roanoke, recently.
while getting Chinese food I saw some markings on an egg roll that looked sort a like , C R O A T A N instead of soy sauce, all they had was something called fenofibrate.
ever heard of anything so wild ?? anyway, Happy Birthday Mrs. StarLite Moon.

| Thank you Lakerz and Harold, I like your little plug at Roanoke, I hope you will like my next game, although it is a bit of a scary supernatural thriller. I just took my BP and it was 127/88, very pleased with that. I hate taking medications too. I've upped the speed on the treadmill, I couldn't believe the sweating I did. I'm going to start working on my weight now, I've stopped sugar, I use Xylitol in my tea. I'm going to try to go a whole year without sugar, but it's hard when they keep making that coconut banana cake I love so much. Well folks I'm off to see what mischief I can get into. Be careful not to step into any strange time machines and if you do, I'll meet you at Roanoke, just don't forget the password | |

| My health got a whole lot better over the past 18 months since I started to force myself into a daily fast walking routine. The area I live in is quite hilly, so it does not take much to get my heart rate up to healthy levels. Try to do on average 4 miles a day 5 days a week. Sugar has never been a big draw for me thankfully, I have no problem staying away from desserts and sodas and all that. I do like my beers though, especially IPAs, and those basically metabolize directly into sugar, so drinking a few is identical to having a huge dessert. Bad news all around. Good luck with the treadmill, stay at it! | |

| Glad to hear you are doing much better Lakerz, I love walking too when I can, but sometimes my back says no. My BP was really good last time I took it, 122/80, I couldn't believe it, I guess it's the medication.
Hubby moved my computer to the livingroom because I can't sit now on a chair. I think this was a big mistake because I spend more time on the computer than before. Not that bad I guess, I do love working on my graphics and my game. I get so sick of working on Hawk Manor and have to take a break for a few days and then I get on a roll and can't stop. I was hoping to release it for Halloween but I'm not sure that's going to happen. It would if I worked on it day and night but then I wouldn't be able to walk at all. Oh well, the perils of old age I guess.
I don't drink pop or juice, the most sugar I get is a mint after dinner but that's even taking a toll on my eczema. I can't even have a lousy stinking mint. It's funny, it seems that after dinner is when I feel the crave for a sweet.
Keep up the walking and you'll see the improvements in no time. I'm nursing a cup of tea at the moment, once I'm finished that I'm off to the treadmill.

| Hi StarLite, the most important thing is taking care of your health. Hawk Manor will get released when it gets released and we will play it then. hatshepsut | |

| Hi Hats, the game is on hold for a little while. My blood pressure is back to normal and I've lost 6 lbs. Hubby and I have a new way of eating now and he has lost 3 lbs. Still doing the treadmill, but unfortunately am suffering from Vertigo now. Bromazapam helps it when it's bad. I can't believe October is here. Where has summer gone, I feel like I'm stepping in and out of a time machine. Well I have a couple of vids to post so I'll do that. Take care and hope you are feeling good too | |

| I can't believe it's already Oct either. We didn't have much of a summer here this year.We had a couple 100 degree days. Just very unusual weather for us here. Aug is usually very hot, dry and no wind. I suppose summer will be back to normal next year.

| Before you know it the little mummers will be here. I pulled out the Halloween decorations today to make sure they weren't moldy because it rained last year and they got wet. I hope it stays dry at least for shell out. We have to trim the tree out front because it had grown over half of the steps and I don't want the kids to catch there costumes on it, plus we're running out of room on the steps | |
