The 12 Steps of Gamers Anonymous

How many of you people here are on these 12 steps? I'm currently on Step 7.

And doesn't the "Adventure Pointer" name mean when you go into a store, you see a game you like and you point - to that game of a shelf that's like 20 - 30 feet across the asles from where you're standing, and if your loved one is with you, they tell you "Don't point. It's not polite?"

When you walk into the next room and hope there is not a slider puzzle there.

...you wear some silly tight-fitting outfit with your midriff showing and never change your clothes.

...You think you have to talk to everyone you meet in public and exhaust the conversation on all topics - I even had trouble in real life with this! People at the mall, on the bus, at bus stop would not want to talk to me, and I'd end up wanting to "exit" this life (PC game called Real Life) and go Home to Heaven!

...... You go to the drug store and the pharmacist tells you she will need to you fetch some mushrooms from the woods just outside town, but when you get there you can't find the bloody mushrooms but instead you find a hermit who will gladly give you some of his stash of mushrooms if you will only go and see the blacksmith and get the hermit's iron cauldron which is there for repair, but when you get to the blacksmith, she tells you that she is almost done with the cauldron but her special hammer broke and, although, she doesn't know for sure where one is, she thinks that some construction worker over where they are fixing the bridge might have something that would do the job just as well as her special hammer.... BUT... [whew] when you get to the construction site you find that it has been abandoned and, although there are many tools lying about, none of them looks remotely like a hammer... at least not alone... so you figure that you may have combine some items.... BUT...BUT... then you go back to the drug store and hide behind the counter and steal the drugs...

You see a torn newspaper clipping, & try to put it back together .

...your key ring is loaded with oddly shaped keys you've picked up on the off chance that they might someday open something.

When you are visiting somewhere and you try every door to see if it's unlocked.

Or when I go somewhere (a store, mall, restaurant) and I try to take a screenshot (using my camera) of every nook and cranny, my seat cushion, the floor, ceiling, the words on the wall decor, the door handle, etc not to mention the whole room from every angle.
