| After months of delay as a result of incompatibilities with Windows 7, Christopher Brendel's "The Filmmaker" has finally gone gold. Brendel expects the game to be available for sale on the Unimatrxi Productions website within three weeks and will start taking pre-orders some time within the next two. Also for sale will be a 52-page companion guide containing both a walkthrough and list of game easter eggs. You can read the story of The Filmmaker in On the Horizon found Herehatshepsut

| He didn't happen to mention if it will be digital download only, available on disk like his other games or both did he? | |

| Hi all,
I figured I'd check in. It's actually a bit annoying that the game had to be on 2 DVDs. The reason is that I needed to include a completely separate installation of the game for Windows 7 versus earlier operating systems, and so - even though both versions share many of the same resources on the disc, I needed to include an extra 2 GB over what I would have needed had I only included one installation. Oh well!

| Nevermind Chris. It's just fantastic to see your hard work come to fruition. Hey! Just think. It's not that long ago I was playing Big Red Adventure from TWELVE 3.5" diskettes! | |

| Hi CBSection31
Thank you for the explanation. Will that mean there will be disk swapping or just that one DVD is for installation and one is for the game ?

| I managed to arrange it so that one disc handles installation and the other handles gameplay, so that you'll only have to swap discs the first time you install it. | |

| Hey CBSection Good to see you here and give us the explanation for the 2 DVD's. You sure must have went to a lot of trouble just so the Windows 7 users could play The Filmmaker. I hope they appreciate that. I am still standing in line waiting for the Pre-Order Ticket Booth to open up for this world premier opening. Sure gets cold at night keeping my place in this line. Hope you open up soon. | |

| I am not sure if CBSeaction has plans to offer this game on his web site for Pre-Order but it is available at Interact for Pre-Order now by clicking their Logo above. And with a very reasonable price. | |

| GreyFuss I'm sorry but you are going to have to wait a little longer. The Filmmaker isn't quite ready for pre order yet. For those of you unfamiliar with Christopher's other games (Shady Brook and Lifestream) I can tell you Christopher makes excellent games. hatshepsut

| Thanks for the heads-up, GreyFuss. I wasn't aware that Interact had the game available for pre-order already... I wasn't intending on making the game available for pre-orders for another week or two. | |

| Hey CB
So are you still going to sell from your site and would there be any difference ordering from Interact?

| It will be for sale at both Interact and my own store. Of course, I'd prefer you buy directly from me as I earn a bit more, but there's no harm getting the game from Interact . | |
