| Just watched the new Staar Trek movie. Expected to hate it, but it was excellent. Hopefully, there'll be more to come. McCoy's character was uncannily similar to 'the real McCoy' so to speak.  I like older movies, both classics and the slightly less well known, or less hyped movies. But this was excellent entertainment. Great fun!  Has anyone else seen any good movies lately? Gelert.  | |

I watched the new Star Trek movie a few weeks ago and I, like you, wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. I had not read anything about the movie and thought that their idea of doing it as a prequel was great. And boy did the actors resemble the originals or what? Don't think I remember Uhura having the hots for Spock though. | |

| I watched District 9 the other night. Alot of violence but a pretty good movie. It was really different from most of the alien movies.

| Guys I watched the new Star Trek movie last night. I was surprised by how good it was. Some of the concepts in the movie were so intriguing. I was completely engrossed in the movie from beginning to end.

PS. I like the older movies too Gelert. Especially the old 30's and 40's black and white.

| I watched Nine last night. It wasn't what I expected but turned out to be a pretty good movie. The animation was very good.

| I watched Public Enemies last night. The movie was pretty much what I expected. The FBI running around trying to capture public enemies. Johnny Depp gave his usual great performance
