| Screenshots look nice. Good to see that Daedalic Entertainment appears to be doing well. | |

| Ι am terribly dissapointed that there won't be a full english retail version. There are already two german retail versions, most excellent ones, but in order to play them in english you must get connected to Steam and....download the english dialogues....what a deep (silver) shame.... | |

| Wouldn't a full english retail version simply be voiced in english along with subtitles and game menus? I know that that sounds like an odd question considering tsampikos' last post but searching on-line I found Daedalic's store (beta) offering what looks like an english version, albeit expensive. LINK
I saw too that it was also offered at GAMERSGATE at a more modest pricetag. Nothing on the page seems to indicate the game is not in english and so of course I would be sadly dissapointed if I were to purchase (not that I would in general due to bandwidth issues) and discover otherwise. LINK | |

| I am talking about a retail version. Not a digital download Version. Take a look at the german retail versions and you will be amazed! http://tinyurl.com/bwmw4h8 http://tinyurl.com/c8dbye3 | |

| Wow, they do get a real treat. I know the mods here are a bit strict on going off-topic but I can't help but wonder why Daedalic chose Deep Silver as opposed to Lace Mamba Gl. I hope they are not in trouble financially or such. I've purchased a few of their release versions in the past and I am always pleased with the extra goodies included in the package. On second thought, perhaps it would be best not... | |

| Camaro in the case of The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav. Daedalic Entertainment and Deep Silver partnered to develope and publish. I expect that Koch Media owned the distribution rights since they own the Deep Silver label.
Sometimes the publishing and distribution get very complicated. Deep Silver is self developing and publishing and Koch Media does the distribution. Daedalic Entertainment is also self developing and self publishing so when they don't partner with someone like Deep Silver they can go with someone like Lace Mamba.
It's a wonder that we ever get a game at all.
As far as the English translation goes I don't know why they can make an English translation for download and not a boxed version.
I think that Steam's download is a few dollars cheaper than Gamersgate.

| A special edition of The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav would be nice. Hopefully the sales will be high enough to encourage an English boxed version.
