Adventure Screenshot Game - Take 1

There are also two different boxes; a yellow one with the subtitle 'the sacred legacy', and a brown/blue one without subtitle. Maybe there are more differences than just the box?
I have the blue/brown version, but I tried to install it on 3 different laptops and everytime I get a different error.

The screen is from Next Life, that is also in my to-play pile.

P.S.; Do we need some clues, yet, on your screenshots? Or is it just me that's useless on this particular competition?

Obviously some of us have not played as many games as others...and some of us do feel kind of useless. The screenshots from some of the "newer' games (post year 2000) are at least jogging some memory cells...even though not hard enough.

It's not just you I'm afraid. I'm now starting to realize how difficult it is to get a good balance in those puzzles.

Somehow, I also think the graphics in that game look uniquely .... ordinary. No idea why? Is the game any good? Have you played it? Reviews aren't all that praising.

Ah-ha! Well done JK! It's called L.A.Law: The Computer game, and it was an FMV Adventure made in 1992. It's in the AP database.

You stumped me for a moment there. Didn't recognize it (probably cause I haven't played it ), but it turned out traceable.

I would have referenced a clue is in another thread if I were to have given a hint. This was the first successful adventure game I played...and will always have a place in my heart as my favorite Nancy Drew.
