Adventure Games you have Played in 2010

My lists keep getting shorter and shorter each year as I have played most all of the older released adventure games now. So I am now in the rut of only playing newly released games. I am sure that this list will even be shorter come the end of 2011.

I was still playing console rpgs for a lot of the year. So my list a little short.

There may be a few others. But I cant really remember if they were really early this year or late last year.

I had trouble remembering whether I played a game at the end of a year or the beginning of the year too. I had to start making lists for each new year and adding games as I played them.

Did you like Beneath a Steel Sky? I really enjoyed it.

GreyFuss, what did you think of Diabolik?
AP calls it a must play, but from what I heard you either choose action mode with a lot of... action, or adventure mode wich, without the action, is more like watching a movie.
What mode did you play?

I played Diabolik on adventure mode and quite enjoyed the play. I figured I would then play it on action mode but since I don't like that type I didn't last long before quitting even though I knew what to do. I suspect that the person who said that the game was like watching a movie might prefer action in their games and says that about a lot of adventures although I wouldn't know that for sure.


On another note I added Lost Horizon to my 2010 list as I finished it in a few days time.

A long list this year. Highlights where Diamonds in the Rough, The Filmmaker, Runaway 3, SH versus Arsene Lupin and The Whispered World. But I actually enjoyed most games I tried.
On the downside there were 2 games I started and didn't finish: Temujin and Broken Sword 4.

I won't say Big Red Adventure is a must play, but it's an enjoyable old school cartoon game. Not easy, because there are so many possibilities to use inventory items. But that goes with this type of game.

Ahhh...your list takes me back to when my yearly lists use to look that big. Sad to say that my lists can only get smaller and smaller. You are very lucky to still have the chance to enjoy all these treasures for the first time. Heres to another good year for you

I have now played 250 adventuregames, but there are still several hundreds to go.
The only problem I could encounter is that all the games left to do are hard-to-get ones, but I haven't reached that stage yet.

Don't know if these count, but - it looks like I didn't play too many of the latest games released this year for 2 reasons: I didn't have them until now, and I didn't get a new PC yet.

Played some of Theato 5 but got stuck, couldn't continue, besides now I got Film Maker to play (have it installed in my netbook) but was down (me not the netbook) with a bug so I didn't play Film Maker at all.
