Very few here, I'm afraid. Runaway 2, Sins of the Fathers, Ankh: Reverse the Curse and Culpa Innata.

We found Runaway 2 very disappointing. Sins of the Fathers and Culpa Innata were brill!

Oh, no!!!! I don't keep track......lol I just put them on my completed list--- perhaps I can sit back in a nice cozy chair and try to remember some----hmmmm

Adventure game playing is like Jello pudding...Theres always room time for more.

GreyFuss I think I snuck a few games plays in when you weren't looking. hehe My game playing addiction really kicked in this last year. I just did nothing else expect play games. But there were quite a few of those games that were short easy games. Yep just like jello pudding theres always room for more and more.

GreyFuss you played quite a few too but not nearly as many replays as what I was thinking.

Does this level of game addiction ever slow down?

I had no idea that you would have finished so many games either considering all the trips to the Lake House, Tennessee and you volunteering and chairing committees at the Library.

Wow winfrey that is one impressive list of games played. winfrey you are one massive game player. You had some great adventures this past year.

There might be some 2008's in there... I really have a hard time figuring these things out-- at least now I have a bench mark and I can give a goo list for 2010.

I bring the laptop up with me to the lake house---- I tried bringing it to the board meetings but the other Director's did not see the humor in it
Considering I will have to start getting ready to sell the house and move- 2010 might not get as many games on its list.

I had the same problem with my 2008 and 2007 lists. But i finally decided I was close enough on them. The biggest problem I have is that I play so many games a long time after they are released so it's hard to remember if I don't write them down.

I had more than one massive game play where I just kept playing for days and nights at a time. I don't think I'll do that this year.

Nice list HandsFree. I have been sitting on the fence about Rome: Caesar's Will. What did you think of it?

I would only recommend Rome Ceasar's Will to die hard adventure gamers.
The story was quite interesting, but it has an unusual feature: the whole game is timed. Fortunately not playing time, but in-game time. That means if you travel to a close destination, you lose 30 minutes or so. And travelling to a further place you lose 4 hours, something like that.
So every time I had been wandering around, I reloaded after I had found a way to progress, so I could take the right action without losing all the time.
Turned out that was probably not necessary because I had heaps of time left in the end.
Also the game crashed a lot, but I haven't read other complaints about that. So maybe it's just one of those games that doesn't like my old laptop.

I was close to quitting a few times, but the intrigue and setting kept me interested enough to push on.

I am an AG newcomer. currently finding the games hard BUT VERY fun.

should soon become adept instead of relying on hints and guide so much :p

this is a nice website btw, hope it catches on, can never be enough adventure game forums in my humble opinion

Thanks for your opinion HandsFree. It was the threat of timing that would curtail the exploration that I was concerned about. It may be worth at least a try but I still don't know.

Hello and welcome Idrisguitar

It it always nice to meet a new player in this adventure genre club. There just seems to be so few of you. You have so much to look forward too. It is really going to be interesting seeing your list of completed games for 2010 in a year.

oh yeah, after a week fo solid internet trawling i have a list of around 80 games,

going to play through some of the classic first (right now its BS1 and secret of monkey island) just so i can get a firm grip in the genre.

Its hard, most games hold your hands, it tough running into so many brick walls and frustrations, but slowly im learning to figure things out for myself rather than need a guide all the time. and hopefully after a few more games i should feel totally comfortable and will be able to think around a puzzle the right way.

hopefully it just not me being thick

after BS and SOMI, its grim fandango, and still life, then probably lnogest journey and dreamfall. then maybe ill try the slightly harder games like the gabriel knights, and Tex murphy, and maybe even the discworld games. (hopefully then my brain will be more adept)

can anyone remember how they were in the beginning. i know i need more patience, but i for some reason cant help myself

Im still enjoying myself though, which is probably why not completing some of the puzzles with my own mind is making me feel so annoyed.
