Nothing groundbreaking but it keeps a good rhythm throughout, a decent thriller for me

I didn't know anything about the film when I saw it first. That's probably the best way to see a movie, I guess.

That was a good clue SuperEdy. The movie is "Pleasantville"...although I don't recall that scene for some reason.

Correct, it's the scene when the mother, played by Joan Allen, has an orgasm in the bathtub, that provokes a fire in the tree and when the firemen arrive, they don't know how to extinguish it because there's never been a fire before in Pleasantville The script is original and clever so I gave the movie 9/10 in the IMDb rating system

Yes. I don't remember the tree on fire but, yes, I really enjoyed the quirky originality of Pleasantville too.

I was afraid I made that one too easy. It's a good flick, Gelert. Have a restful night.

Too easy, but had to include this, as it's such a good film.

Honestly - and I mean it this time (always do ), I did think this would be one you'd like and know. It's one of my favourite movies. Screenshots are proving quite tricky to find though. You might kick yourself when you get who the muddy actor is.

Keep thinking, and I'll look for another screen.

Okay. I've found a trailer of the opening scenes on a fan site for the film, and I've snapshotted two more pics. You can see who the muddy actor is now. In fact, for the entire film (almost), there are ONLY two actors. The director was John Boorman.
