| Of course, Peter Bogdanovich sort of remade it in "What's up, Doc?" ("Forces of Nature" seems also inspired by it, too bad for the poor moralistic ending) | |

| I'm a Cary Grant fan (amongst others, including his male co-lead in this film), so here's another. You should know this classic. When I love an old classic movie, I'm extremely reluctant to watch modern day remakes. This is one example. Why tarnish the memory? | |

| I would presume that screen shot to be from the movie "The Bishop's Wife." Remade later as "The Preacher's Wife"...which was a poor movie by comparison. | |

| Is a hint needed for the above screenshot???? Admittedly, this is not one of those films that has been in the mainstream...even on rerun television. It is however one of the best films I have ever seen...which is why I remember it after all these years. I think the last time I saw it, I was in my teens. | |

| Well, one of my favourite Glenn Ford (& Poitier), movies is The Blackboard Jungle, so I'll go for that. | |

| Not it, Gelert. I might need to post another screenshot. As I said this movie, although it got good reviews and was rather compelling...is not that well known. Once you've seen it though, you never forget it. At least, I didn't. | |

| Very good, SuperEdy! And yes, that is Rod Taylor, Gelert. I saw the movie on television (late night Saturday) years ago. Always watched it when they reran it. It's an excellent and gripping film about a plane crash...and the series of fateful events that led to it. Glenn Ford plays the FAA investigator. You might also recognize Suzanne Pleshette as the stewardess on the left. She was the only survivor of the crash and was instrumental to recalling the chain of events. The final scene has you on the edge of your seat. (At least it did me.) I highly recommend seeing if the film is available for rent. | |

| I'd never heard of "V for Vendetta.". Any good? Looks Gothic -ish ............ or is it a superhero/antihero type film? | |

| Gelert it is a very good movie. Not gothish and not really super hero/ anti hero either. It is an action, sci fi thriller.

| He's not a super hero, Gelert. More of a rebel or freedom fighter. Excellent movie, though. I caught it by accident on one of the premium movie channels and really enjoyed it. Here's the next one: | |
